What She's not real is about
She’s not real Candy Shorts starts with a headset. It’s your first time using it, and the menu offers six women aged 21 to 39, each with a label: a strict boss, a best friend’s mom, a gamer, and so on. Pick anyone, you’re told, it’s your dream. Then a woman appears who has no label at all. She says she isn’t on the menu, and when you choose her anyway, she answers that she runs this dream and you can’t have her. Episode 2 flips the game: the person you were looking for isn’t available, she is, and she knows you’re watching. Candy’s description frames the series as a game of winning over the women you choose. It’s tagged Fantasy, and the free episodes stay suggestive rather than explicit.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
This is the cleverest hook in the batch. The menu of labeled women is a joke about how streaming apps sort desire, and then the series gives you a lead who objects to being a menu item. The “I know you’re watching” line is the best use of the fourth wall I’ve seen on Candy, because it fits a platform where you really are choosing from a catalog. The limit is that the free pair is mostly setup, and the plot so far is a challenge, not a scene. (I have spent longer browsing streaming menus than most of these characters spend on theirs.)
The free episodes
Episode 1 (57 seconds) is the tour: the headset, the labeled lineup, the woman with no label, and your choice of her anyway, answered with a refusal. Episode 2 (57 seconds) is the better of the pair, with the lead breaking the fourth wall, dismissing the menu women as not real to her, and laying out terms for one night. Both episodes stay flirty and suggestive, nothing explicit. The cliffhanger is a dare to keep up.
After the paywall
Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are locked: three episodes at 12 tokens each, 3 × 12 = 36 tokens to finish. Premium is required and includes 100 tokens a month, so a month covers it and leaves 64. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads, and the series ends in a chat with the lead Candy lists, Mila Nowak. No spoilers for the locked chapters here; what you’re paying for is whether you can keep up with her rules.
Watch it if…

- ✓ Viewers who like fourth-wall teasing
- ✓ Anyone who enjoys a lead who breaks the rules

Skip it if…
- ✕ You want grounded, real-world romance
- ✕ Meta, game-style setups feel gimmicky
Verdict
A clever, self-aware fantasy with a lead who refuses to be a menu option. It’s all premise and attitude so far, but the attitude is good, and finishing costs 36 tokens, about a third of one Premium month. The two free episodes take under two minutes. Put the headset on and start with episode 1.
