Short answer
How to cancel Candy AI subscription renewals: log in on candy.ai, open your account settings, find the subscription section and cancel. Candy’s plans page says you can cancel any time in settings, and that plans renew automatically for the same price and term until you do. Episodes you unlocked are, in Candy’s words, “yours forever.” Refund requests go through Candy’s Help Center; none are guaranteed.
How to cancel Candy AI subscription, step by step
I once kept paying for a gym for over a year because cancelling required a letter, delivered in person, on a weekday. Candy is kinder: its plans page says you can cancel “at any time in settings.” Here’s the general path.
- Log in to the account that pays. Use the same email, or the same Google sign-in, you subscribed with. If you have two Candy accounts, this is where people get stuck.
- Open your account or profile menu and go to Settings.
- Find the subscription or billing section. Note your plan and the renewal date if it’s shown.
- Choose cancel and confirm. Click through to the final confirmation screen; closing the tab halfway doesn’t count.
- Keep proof. Screenshot the confirmation, and keep any confirmation email if one arrives.
Candy doesn’t publish a click-by-click walkthrough that we could verify, so treat the menu names above as general guidance; the exact labels on your screen may differ. The steps are the same whichever length you’re on, so there’s no special trick for how to cancel a Candy AI plan bought for 12 months versus one month.
Can’t find it? Candy’s Help Center, run under the EverAI name on Zendesk, is the next stop. And don’t try to cancel by deleting the home-screen icon: Candy runs in the browser, so that icon is just a bookmark with ambitions.
Before you cancel: is a cheaper plan the real fix?
Plenty of people searching “cancel Candy AI” don’t actually want to leave. They want to stop paying $13.99 every month. That’s a billing problem, not a product problem, and the fix might be a different plan length rather than a cancellation.
The numbers, per Candy’s plans page:
- Monthly: $13.99 × 12 = $167.88 a year.
- 3 months: $26.97 per term, $107.88 a year.
- 12 months: $47.88 a year, or $3.99 a month. Same Premium, same 100 tokens a month.
Moving from monthly to annual saves $120 a year. Moving off the weekly option ($5.60 a week, $291.20 a year) saves even more, and cuts 52 charges down to one.
We didn’t verify how Candy handles a mid-term switch, whether it prorates or waits until your current term ends, so check the subscription section or ask the Help Center before you assume. And if what you actually want is fewer charges, not less Candy, one annual payment is the tidiest option there is.
If price was the problem, the plans are right below. If leaving is the plan, carry on: the next sections cover what you keep.
What happens to your tokens and unlocked episodes
Once you’ve worked out how to cancel Candy AI subscription billing, the next question is what you keep. Here’s what Candy says, and what we couldn’t confirm.
Unlocked episodes. Candy’s unlock screen says “Watch in HD. Yours forever. No ads, no waiting.” That’s Candy’s promise for episodes you bought with tokens. We haven’t tested replaying one on a lapsed account, so if your unlocked episodes matter to you, ask the Help Center before you cancel.
Unused tokens. We couldn’t verify whether leftover tokens survive a cancellation or the end of your paid term. Assume they don’t, and spend them first. 100 tokens buys 8 standard locked episodes, or finishes two 5-episode series with 28 to spare. For example, 36 tokens finishes Forgive Me, Father, one of the series with a New Episodes badge right now.
Premium features. Unlimited text messages, 18+ image and video generation, creating your own AI girlfriend and AI phone calls are all listed as Premium benefits, so expect them to stop when your membership does. If you’ve built a custom character or saved things to your Collection, check what stays accessible before the term ends; we didn’t verify it.
The free tier. Episodes 1 and 2 of every regular series play free on a free account, Premium or not.
The sensible order: spend the tokens, finish the series you care about, then cancel. Your future self, the one reading the bank statement, will thank you.
When does Candy AI renew? Plan-by-plan table
Candy’s wording is clear: plans “renew automatically for the same price and term.” So the date that matters isn’t the day you subscribed. It’s the day before the next charge.
| Plan | Renewal charge | Renews every | Charges per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $47.88 | 12 months | 1 |
| 3 months | $26.97 | 3 months | 4 |
| 1 month | $13.99 | Month | 12 |
| Every 2 weeks | $9.79 | 2 weeks | 26 |
| Weekly | $5.60 | Week | 52 |
Candy notes that additional local taxes may apply, so the line on your statement can be a little higher than the table.
Two timing tips. First, cancel a few days early, not on the renewal date itself. You don’t know which time zone the billing system counts in, and Candy’s operator is in Malta, several hours ahead of any US clock. Second, if you’re on the weekly or two-week cycle, the window is tiny. A week passes fast when you’re not paying attention, and the weekly plan gets 52 chances a year to catch you.
Spotting the “EverAI” charge on your statement
Candy subscriptions don’t say “Candy” on your bank or card statement. They show as “EverAI,” the name of the company that runs the platform: EverAI Limited, company no. C107181, based in Santa Venera, Malta.
That’s useful for discretion and confusing for everyone else. If you spot an EverAI charge you don’t remember:
- Search your email accounts for a Candy sign-up. Old, forgotten accounts are the usual culprit.
- Check the amount against the table above. $47.88, $26.97, $13.99, $9.79 and $5.60, plus any local tax, are the plan prices we saw.
- Check who else uses the card. Awkward conversation, fast answer.
- Log in and cancel if it’s yours and you don’t want it to renew.
- Contact the Help Center with the date and amount if you can’t match it to an account.
If you believe the charge isn’t yours at all, your card issuer has its own process for that. I’m a guy who reviews AI shorts, not your bank, so I’ll leave the specifics to them. For a broader look at who runs Candy and what it publishes, see is Candy AI safe.
Candy AI refund: what to expect, and how to ask
The honest answer on a Candy AI refund: there’s no promise of one. Nothing on the plans page we checked offers a refund guarantee; it says plans renew automatically and that you can cancel any time. Cancelling is about future renewals. Whether money already paid comes back is Candy’s call.
If you want to ask anyway, give yourself the best shot:
- Contact Candy’s Help Center (EverAI’s support desk) rather than posting in the Discord community. Billing questions need your account details, not an audience.
- Include the facts: your account email, the charge date, the amount, and the fact that it shows as “EverAI.”
- Say what happened, briefly. Forgot to cancel, didn’t use the tokens, subscribed by mistake: one or two sentences is plenty.
- Ask soon. A request the day after a renewal reads very differently from one three months later.
- Cancel the renewal first, so the same thing doesn’t happen next term.
Candy also publishes a Complaint Policy, which is the formal route if the Help Center reply doesn’t settle it. I’m not going to guess at outcomes. I don’t know them, and neither does any site that tells you refunds are guaranteed.
How to avoid renewals you didn’t mean to pay for
Most unwanted renewals aren’t sneaky billing. They’re us forgetting. A few habits fix that:
- Calendar the renewal the day you subscribe, set three days early. It takes thirty seconds and has saved me more money than any coupon ever has.
- Match the plan to your plans. Want to finish one series and leave? One month at $13.99 is the honest choice, not a year you’ll forget about. Staying four months or more? The annual plan is cheaper than four months of monthly ($47.88 vs. $55.96).
- Avoid the weekly cycle if you’re forgetful. 52 renewals a year is 52 chances to forget.
- Use one account. Two Candy accounts on two emails is how people cancel the wrong one.
- Read your statement for “EverAI.” That’s Candy.
- Ask before cancelling early. Some people cancel the renewal right after buying to turn it into a one-off purchase. Before you do, confirm in settings or with the Help Center that your paid term stays active until it ends; we didn’t test it.
Knowing how to cancel Candy AI subscription renewals is useful; never needing to is better. The full plan math lives on the Candy AI pricing page, and no, you don’t need a promo code for the annual discount. It’s applied automatically.
Cancelling vs. going back to the free account
Cancelling Premium and deleting your Candy account are two different things. Cancelling stops the renewals. Deleting removes the account itself; if that’s what you want, read Candy’s Privacy Policy and ask the Help Center how they handle it, because we didn’t verify the process.
For most people, the better move is to cancel and keep the free account. Here’s what that still gets you:
- Episodes 1 and 2 of every regular series: 248 free episodes, about 4.5 hours.
- New series as they arrive: 11 carry a New Episodes badge right now (see the New tag).
- A way back if a new release hooks you, without starting from scratch.
That last point is the quiet one. The free episodes are how you find out whether a new series is worth paying for. If you come back later, start free; if you’re going to finish more than one series a month, the annual plan at $3.99/mo is the cheapest way in.
And if you’re done for good, that’s fine too. Cancel, keep your screenshot, and enjoy a statement with one fewer “EverAI” on it.
