What Is Candy AI? A Plain-English Guide to How It Works

My standard line at parties is “a streaming service, a chat app and a photo studio sharing one adults-only apartment.” It gets a laugh, then a lot of follow-up questions, which is roughly why this page exists.

So, what is Candy AI without the party line? It’s an adults-only website where every character is a fictional adult generated by AI. You can do three things there:

• Talk to characters by text, voice message or AI phone call.
• Create images, short videos and entire custom characters.
• Watch Candy Shorts, scripted vertical series starring Candy’s characters.

Characters come in three categories: Girls, Anime and Guys. There’s also Candy Creators, a section of licensed AI “Digital Twins” of real adult performers such as Riley Reid, Mia Malkova, Sophie Dee and Bonnie Blue. What you see there is their AI twin, not filmed footage.

Candy is run by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta, and charges show up as “EverAI” on your statement. Candy’s Premium page says it’s “Trusted by 50 million people worldwide.” That’s Candy’s number, not one we can check.

It all runs in the browser at candy.ai, on a phone or a computer. Nothing needs downloading: Candy’s “Get App” option adds it to your home screen instead.

Here’s the path most people take, from first click to first token.

1. Make a free account. Sign up with Google or email. No card needed.
2. Pick a starting point. Browse characters in Girls, Anime or Guys, or start with a Candy Shorts series.
3. Chat or watch for free. Start a conversation, or watch episodes 1 and 2 of any regular series. Premium lists unlimited messages as a perk, so free chat has a limit; Candy doesn’t publish it on the plans page.
4. Upgrade when free runs out. Premium adds unlimited text messages, your own custom AI girlfriend, 18+ image and video generation, the “Full Live Action Experience” and 100 tokens a month. Image generation, video generation and phone calls are Premium-only: on a free account each one shows an “Upgrade to Unlock” prompt.
5. Spend tokens on extras. Locked Shorts episodes cost 12 tokens (30 on Creators series), a 5-second Scene Video of a chat moment costs 12, and AI phone calls cost 3 tokens a minute (beta price). Spicy episodes cost 30 (50 on Creators ones), and Private Content packs run 290 tokens each. Top-ups are for Premium members only; the token store isn’t available on a free account.
6. Keep what you unlock. Unlocked episodes are, in Candy’s words, “Yours forever,” and Candy’s Collection works as your gallery.

The clever part is how the pieces feed each other. Most Shorts series end by handing you to a chat with the lead character, so a one-minute episode can turn into an evening-long conversation. I’ve lost more evenings to that hand-off than I’d like to admit.

Steps 1 to 3 cost nothing, which makes this the rare explainer you can test yourself in about two minutes.

Candy Shorts (also written Candy AI Shorts or CandyShorts) is Candy’s built-in series library: scripted, AI-generated adult dramas told in short vertical episodes. Think of a soap opera cut for a phone screen, where every episode ends at the worst possible moment for your sleep schedule.

The numbers as of October 2, 2026:

Episodes 1 and 2 of every non-Spicy series play free on a free account. From episode 3 you need Premium and tokens, and a standard five-episode series costs 36 tokens to finish. The 9 Spicy titles are Premium-only: even their first two episodes are included with Premium rather than free, and locked ones cost 30 tokens.

Subtitles are in English, and many series also offer dubs in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Japanese. When a series ends, most hand you to a chat with the lead character; four Spicy titles end with a prompt to create your own.

• Create your own AI girlfriend. Build a custom character from scratch: Girls or Trans, Realistic or Anime, ethnicity, an age from 18 to 55+, hair, body, personality and voice. A Premium feature.
• AI image generator. Generate 18+ images, inside a chat or with the Generate Image tool. Premium.
• AI video generator. Generate 18+ videos, including Scene Video: a 5-second clip of a chat moment for 12 tokens. Premium.
• AI phone calls. Talk to a character out loud for 3 tokens a minute (beta price). Requires a subscription.
• Private Content. Content packs tied to individual characters; the ones we priced, Mila Nowak’s, cost 290 tokens each.

Rounding it out: a Discover feed for browsing, a Collection gallery, a My AI section, Live Action characters promoted on the homepage (they match Premium’s “Full Live Action Experience”), and Candy Creators, home of the licensed AI twins of real performers. Candy’s Creators page also lists “Cams” as coming soon.

If you only try one thing beyond Shorts, make it the chat. It’s where the characters from the series keep talking after the credits, and it’s the part of Candy that surprised me most.

People use the names interchangeably, but they’re not the same thing. Candy AI is the platform; Candy Shorts is one feature inside it.

The two meet at the end of most series, where the story hands you to a chat with its lead. Characters also recur across the catalog: Mila Nowak, 21, and Holly Donovan, 39, each appear in five different series, so a character you liked in one story often turns up in another.

The easiest way to think about it: Shorts is the trailer, chat is the after-party. Some people only ever watch, some only ever chat, and most end up doing a bit of both once a series ends on a cliffhanger they’d rather resolve themselves.

If you’re deciding where to start, start with Shorts. Two free episodes tell you more about a character than any profile page.

Candy has one Premium tier with three main billing lengths, plus tokens on top. US prices as of October 2, 2026:

Premium includes 100 tokens a month, unlimited text messages, custom characters and 18+ image and video generation. Candy also showed shorter options, every 2 weeks ($9.79) and weekly ($5.60). Plans renew automatically for the same price and term, Candy says you can cancel any time in settings, and local taxes may apply.

What 100 tokens buy: about two standard Shorts series (36 tokens each), or one Creators series (90 tokens), or a mix of Scene Videos (12 tokens each) and phone calls (3 tokens a minute). The costly corners are Spicy episodes (30 tokens, 50 on Creators ones) and Private Content packs (290 tokens each). The 70% annual discount applies automatically, so there’s no promo code to hunt for.

Candy AI suits adults who:

• like short, bingeable drama with an adult edge and don’t mind that it’s all AI;
• want to keep talking to a character after their series ends;
• enjoy building characters and generating images of them;
• are curious about the licensed AI twins of performers they already follow.

Skip it, or at least stay on the free tier, if you:

• want filmed footage of real people. Everything on Candy is AI-generated, including the Creators twins.
• hate paying twice. Premium plus tokens is the model, and locked episodes cost tokens on top of your plan.
• need a native app from the App Store or Google Play. We couldn’t verify one; Candy runs in the browser.
• expect everything to be free. Two episodes per series and limited chat is generous, not unlimited.

My own bias, for the record: I came for the Shorts and stayed because a character I’d watched for five episodes turned out to be good company in chat. That won’t be everyone’s experience, which is exactly why the free account exists.

Yes. The official site is candy.ai, and it’s the only place to watch full Candy Shorts or use Candy’s tools. A few ways to confirm you’re in the right place:

• The operator is EverAI Limited, company no. C107181, 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll, Santa Venera SVR 1833, Malta.
• Your statement shows “EverAI,” not Candy.
• The policies are published: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Content Removal, Blocked Content and DMCA policies, a Complaint Policy, Community Guidelines and an 18 U.S.C. 2257 exemption statement.
• Support runs through Candy’s Help Center, and there’s an official Discord community.

What isn’t official: “Candy AI mod APK” files, Telegram channels selling “full episodes,” and pages offering free Premium codes. Candy doesn’t need a code for its best deal, since the 70% annual discount is automatic. Type candy.ai yourself instead of following links from those places.
