What I Can See Through Everyone But Her is about
I Can See Through Everyone But Her opens on the best $500 Owen ever made. He swallowed one pill for a study, and now, as an adult scraping together rent, he can see through the women around him. He’s already enjoying it through a rent conversation with Mrs. Alvarez. The catch is Dr. Larrea, who runs the study and, per Candy’s synopsis, is married to the man behind the pill. On day two, at his follow-up, she tells him he can’t see through her. Episode 2 turns his symptoms into a game: a nosebleed, a calm voice and a rule that every mark he correctly names on her costs her something she’s wearing. Candy’s synopsis puts a ten-day clock on all of it before his eyes give out. The series is tagged MILF and Fantasy, it’s fictional adults throughout, and the free episodes stay suggestive rather than explicit.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
This has the best engine in the batch. A rule-based power, a ticking clock and exactly one person immune to it: that’s three hooks before the free minutes run out. Episode 2 turns a medical scare into a parlor game, and Dr. Larrea running it like lab protocol is funnier than it has any right to be. (No ethics board in the world would have signed off on this, and that’s the charm.) The weak spot is that the free pair stays at setup, with the ten-day clock barely started. Still, for 36 tokens the premise promises real escalation, and few Candy series make that promise this clearly in 120 seconds.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (59 seconds) is the superpower: the $500 pill, a day of grinning at everything, the rent talk with Mrs. Alvarez and a follow-up where the doctor tells Owen he can’t see through her. Episode 2 (67 seconds) is the one to watch: a nosebleed, an order to breathe and her game, in which every mark he finds on her costs her something she’s wearing. He names a birthmark and a tattoo, both correctly. She calls time, books him at the lab for 9:00 tomorrow, and the episode ends with one more reference to the rules. Suggestive, not explicit.
After the paywall
Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are locked: 3 × 12 = 36 tokens to finish. You need Premium, which includes 100 tokens a month, so one series leaves 64 tokens for the next. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads. The series ends in a chat with the lead, so there’s somewhere to go after the finale. What the ten-day clock does to Owen and Dr. Larrea stays behind the token wall; Candy’s synopsis says only that he has a ten-day limit before his eyes give out.
Watch it if…
- ✓ Fans of high-concept, rule-based setups
- ✓ Viewers who like a ticking clock
- ✓ Anyone who enjoys a commanding, in-control lead
- ✓ People who want sharp dialogue in two minutes
Skip it if…
- ✕ You dislike fantasy-flavored premises
- ✕ You want romance before any scheming
- ✕ Married-woman storylines aren’t for you
Verdict
The sharpest premise in this batch, and the free episodes know it: a power, a clock and one very controlled exception. Finishing costs 36 tokens, comfortably inside one month of Premium. If episode 2’s last minute leaves you curious about that nine o’clock lab appointment, the free pair is worth two minutes of your night. Start there.
