Caught Between Sisters: a 15-episode blackmail triangle

Caught Between Sisters is a Candy Shorts series set at a family summer camp where everyone is supposed to be related and nobody is supposed to be anyone’s type. Emilia Vermont, 19, a French-Canadian university student on summer break, has seen her step-cousin once a year for as long as she can remember. This summer he shows up with a glow-up, the boat leaves for two hours, and Emilia makes a bad decision on purpose. Then her sister Chloe, who has been paying closer attention than anyone realized, ends up holding a photo and a plan. Candy tags it Taboo, and the structure is a love triangle with a blackmail clock on it: Emilia wants the cousin, Chloe wants control, and Tyler is the one person who can’t be allowed to see the picture. It’s fiction about adults, played suggestive and tense rather than explicit.
