What Mona's Worst Enemy is about
Mona’s Worst Enemy Candy Shorts is a stepsibling rivalry played for laughs. Mona Newman is 19, a university student, sarcastic, and very attached to her carefully organized view of the world, which has no room for her step-brother David. He is the confident type who treats every argument as a warm-up, and for a weekend he has been put in charge of looking after her. Episode 1 starts with a honk in traffic, then a car ride where she catches him staring and tells him exactly what she thinks of that. Episode 2 moves into the house, where Dad’s new girlfriend wants the dishes done and David offers a trade: Mona washes up, and he takes her clubbing. Candy tags it Stepsister and Taboo, every character is an adult, and fifteen episodes is a long runway for a daily battle of wits.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
Mona is the whole show. She’s bratty, quick, and visibly losing arguments she insists she’s winning, which is the only kind of enemies-to-lovers that works. The honk in episode 1 is a better opening than most romcoms manage, and the last beat of that episode, where she admits the staring was kind of cute, tells you where this is going. (I have watched actual sitcoms commit to that premise for nine seasons.) The catch is the bill: it’s a 15-episode series, so the locked part runs 156 tokens. That is real money for a slow burn, but it also gives the relationship room to develop instead of rushing it.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (79 seconds) is the car ride and the arrival home: the honk, the staring, the insults, and the private admission that she didn’t hate it. Episode 2 (78 seconds) is the dishes bargain and the clubbing plan, plus a gift from David for the night out. It ends with Mona asking how she looks and David answering with a line she calls gross, in a tone that suggests otherwise. Flirty banter, no explicit scenes. The free part is pure setup.
After the paywall
Episodes 3 to 15 are locked: 13 episodes at 12 tokens each, 156 tokens in total. Premium includes 100 tokens a month, enough for eight locked episodes (96 tokens), so finishing means stretching it across two months of allowance. Episodes 11 to 15 carry Candy’s New badge. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads, and the series ends in a chat with Mona. Dubs are available in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

Verdict
Mona’s Worst Enemy is a sharp, funny setup with one of Candy’s best-written brats, and 15 episodes give the rivalry room to breathe. It’s also one of the pricier ones to finish, at 156 tokens. Start with the two free episodes; if Mona’s attitude wins you over by the dishes, the long game is worth it.
