My Stepmom Is 22 Candy Shorts begins with a wedding that already happened: Kyle’s dad married a 22-year-old last month and is about to leave for the summer. Skye meets her new stepson in episode 1 and tells him he’s cuter than his picture, then gets distracted by sore legs after a workout. Dad says goodbye, asks Kyle to take care of her, and leaves; Skye mentions she’s about to shower, and that the bathroom door doesn’t shut properly. Candy’s description says her house rules are to sit, not touch and just watch, and that she drops them once her best friend comes over. Episode 2 brings the friend in, with a very pointed comment about the summer. Everyone is a fictional adult, the tags are Stepmom and Taboo, and the free episodes stay suggestive, not explicit.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
This is the most traditional setup in the batch, and it knows it. What keeps it moving is pace: the dad is gone by the end of the first minute, the friend arrives in the second episode, and nobody wastes time pretending the summer will be uneventful. The shower door that doesn’t shut is the least subtle plot device since the leaking roof (I admire the commitment). The limits are that the subtitles in episode 1 are patchy, and the free pair covers only the opening moves. It’s also an original-cast series with no chat afterward, so the story ends where it ends.

Episode 1 (50 seconds) covers the wedding, the introduction, Dad’s departure for the summer and Skye’s remark about the bathroom door. The subtitles blur near the end, but the intent reads clearly. Episode 2 (54 seconds) brings Skye’s best friend over for wine, a glance through a door that someone left open, and a request to be told to stop. Both episodes stay flirty and suggestive, with nothing explicit shown. The cliffhanger is that nobody tells anybody to stop.
