What Addicted to my stepdad is about
Addicted to my stepdad Candy Shorts follows Kasia Michalska, a 22-year-old Polish-American who works the floor at a lingerie boutique. Candy describes her as smart, a corny jokester and eager to learn, which is a better résumé than her boyfriend’s. He keeps cheating, she keeps noticing, and she hasn’t managed to leave. Her attention, meanwhile, has settled on her stepdad. In Candy’s own pitch she shows up wanting to vent about the boyfriend while something else hangs in the air, and it gets harder to ignore. That’s the engine of the whole series: one relationship coming apart, one household attraction coming together. It’s tagged Taboo, it’s a Candy original character rather than a real performer’s AI twin, and every character is a fictional adult. Ten episodes makes it twice the length of the usual Candy series, which leaves room for a slow build.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
The selling point is length. Most Candy series wrap in five episodes; ten gives a slow-burn setup the space it needs, and the free pair is the cheapest way to find out whether you want that. Kasia’s profile also has more going on than the Taboo tag: a corny jokester in lingerie retail, stuck in a relationship she knows is bad. That’s a more relatable starting point than most premises in the catalog. (I’ve watched friends make this exact breakup decision for a decade, and none of them had a stepdad as the tiebreaker.) The catch is the bill. 96 tokens is real money, and the free episodes are only a fifth of the story. Decide on the first two, not the last eight.
The free episodes
Episodes 1 and 2 are the setup chapters: Kasia, her boyfriend’s betrayals, and the stepdad she can’t stop thinking about. Candy’s own pitch is a stepdaughter who arrives to vent about the boyfriend while something else hangs in the air, and the free minutes are where that tension gets introduced. The series doesn’t carry Candy’s Spicy label, and a free account is all you need to watch both. The honest limit is the same everywhere on Candy: two episodes is a taste, and most of the story you came for sits in the eight that follow.
After the paywall
Episodes 3 through 10 are locked: eight episodes at 12 tokens each, 8 × 12 = 96 tokens to finish. You need Premium, which includes 100 tokens a month, so a single month covers the whole run with 4 tokens to spare. Each unlocked episode is yours forever, no ads. The series ends in a chat with Kasia, so the story doesn’t stop at episode 10. No spoilers for the locked chapters here; what you’re paying for is the answer to the question the free pair asks.

- ✕ You want a short, five-episode story
Verdict
A long, patient taboo setup with a likable lead and a fair-to-steep 96-token bill. The ten-episode length is the real draw: this is a story, not a teaser. If the free pair makes you curious about Kasia’s stepdad problem, one month of Premium covers the entire run. Start with episodes 1 and 2 on a free Candy account and see if she hooks you.
