What My Best Friends Mom is about
My Best Friends Mom Candy Shorts starts with a favor: Tyler has asked Jake to keep an eye on his place for the weekend. Tyler isn’t coming home, though. Instead his mom, Vanessa, newly divorced, is the one waiting in the heat, asking Jake to do her back because she can’t reach. When Tyler calls to ask whether his mom is feeding Jake okay, Jake manages a very unconvincing all-good. Then Vanessa’s best friend Dana walks in through a gate that was left wide open, takes one look, and says their little secret is safe with her, for now. Candy’s pitch has the broke adult college student caught between the two women and racing to hide it before his buddy returns. Candy tags it MILF and Taboo. Everyone is a fictional adult, and the free episodes are flirty and frank rather than explicit.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
The best thing about My Best Friends Mom is its farce engine. Tyler’s phone call in episode 1 is the highlight: Jake is trembling, Vanessa is within reach, and he has to say everything’s normal in a voice that says otherwise. Episode 2 escalates by turning Dana into a rival, and the two women’s competition gives the series a second axis beyond will-he-or-won’t-he. The weakness is the paywall timing: you’re asked to pay after the setup, not the payoff. (I have survived worse housesitting gigs, though not by much.) For 36 tokens it’s a lively, funny setup that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (69 seconds) is the setup: Jake arrives to find Vanessa instead of Tyler, she asks for help with her back, Tyler calls at the worst moment, and Dana walks in through the open gate with a promise to keep their secret, for now. Episode 2 (66 seconds) is the price: Dana wants a turn, Vanessa says he isn’t a toy, the two argue over whose he is, and the episode closes on a locked door and a promise of no more teasing. Flirty and suggestive, never explicit.
After the paywall
Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are locked: three at 12 tokens each, 36 tokens to finish, inside Premium’s 100 monthly tokens. Candy flags all three New. Its pitch frames the story as a race against Tyler’s return. Unlike most Candy Shorts, this is an original-cast series with no lead character profile and no chat afterward, so the finale ends the story. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads.

Verdict
A fast, farce-flavored setup with a good phone-call scene, a rivalry between two women and a deadline in the form of Tyler’s return. The free pair covers plenty of ground in about two minutes, the 36-token finish is easy to afford, and there’s no chat at the end, just the story. Press play on episode 1 and see whether Dana’s entrance wins you over.
