What My Ex's Hot Dad is about
My Ex’s Hot Dad Candy Shorts begins with a cardboard box. Tyler dumped Sienna last week, and she comes to his father’s house to collect her things while he’s at the lake until Sunday. Marcus hands over the box, offers her water, and agrees that his son is an idiot. Sienna lingers. The conversation turns personal, she asks for a small favor that isn’t small, and Marcus points out that this is a very bad idea. She says the best ones always are. When Tyler’s new girlfriend, the woman he left Sienna for, walks in to grab a charger, Sienna decides what the best revenge looks like. Episode 2 turns confrontational and then escalates. Tyler phones to say he’s driving up tonight. It’s tagged Taboo, it has an original cast with no chat character, and it’s a fictional-adult revenge story played suggestively rather than explicitly.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
Few free pairs escalate this fast. The first episode sets the revenge and the rule-breaking, and the second gives Sienna a rival and then a countdown: Tyler is on his way. The writing is economical, with no wasted scenes, and Marcus gets a dry wit (“my son’s an idiot”) that makes him more than a prop in someone else’s plan. (I’ve rooted for worse protagonists in better-funded shows.) The caveat is the premise. It’s squarely taboo and the morality is deliberately messy, so if family-feud stories bother you, skip it. Otherwise, it’s one of the stronger hooks I’ve come across on Candy.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (68 seconds) is the box handoff: Sienna turns up while Tyler is at the lake, Marcus is kind and wary, and a line gets crossed before Tyler’s new girlfriend interrupts. Episode 2 (71 seconds) escalates fast. Sienna meets the girlfriend, who tells her not to come back, and answers that she will. Then she and Marcus talk about his son, his departed wife and the empty house, and things escalate. It ends with a call from Tyler: he’s driving up tonight. Suggestive, not explicit, and a cliffhanger with a ticking clock.
After the paywall
Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are locked: three episodes at 12 tokens each, 36 tokens to finish. You need Premium, and its 100 monthly tokens cover the series with 64 left over. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads. This is an original-cast series with no chat character, so it doesn’t end by handing you off to one. Candy pitches the second half as a family feud in which no secret stays hidden; how that plays out is for the tokens to reveal.

Verdict
A tight revenge story with a rueful dad, a determined Sienna and a cliffhanger that comes with a ticking clock. It’s 36 tokens to finish, a modest price for a plot this well paced. Start with the free pair; if Tyler’s phone call at the end of episode 2 makes you sit up, you already know your answer.
