What I Won My Best Friend's Girlfriend is about
I Won My Best Friend’s Girlfriend Candy Shorts begins with pancakes and a departure. Sofia, 19, a college student, sees her boyfriend, Jake, off to a conference with a flirty goodbye and a hint of dessert when he’s back. Then Jake pipes up with an afterthought: a friend is dropping by to install his new graphics card, and he knows what to do. That friend is you. The two of you have never met, and Sofia answers the door, welcomes you in, points out the office and mentions she’s about to start a workout. Candy’s synopsis says the story is driven by revenge. She didn’t plan to fall for the friend, but the appeal of getting even proves hard to resist. Candy tags it Cuckold. It’s an original character series, every character is a fictional adult, and the story ends in a chat with Sofia.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
This is a patient setup, and the best moment is a throwaway line: Jake telling his girlfriend that his friend “knows what to do.” It’s the kind of casual sentence that launches a whole series. The hook is what the free pair doesn’t say, which is what Jake did to earn a revenge storyline. (In my experience, installing a graphics card goes slower when the household is this interesting.) The weakness is thinness. Episode 2 lasts only 24 seconds, nothing escalates in the free part, and the revenge is a promise, not a scene. If you need heat before you spend tokens, this isn’t that series. If you like slow-burn setups with a secret, it’s a fair bet.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (65 seconds) is a morning goodbye: Sofia wakes Jake for his conference, flirts, tells him she’ll be waiting with dessert, and learns that a friend is coming by with a graphics card. She opens the door and welcomes him. Episode 2 (24 seconds) is a mere blip: the install, the office on the left, Sofia’s workout and a name called out when the job’s done. Nothing escalates yet. The free part is all setup, and its cliffhanger is a question.
After the paywall
Episodes 3 to 5 are locked: three episodes at 12 tokens each, 3 × 12 = 36 tokens to finish. Premium is required and includes 100 tokens a month, so this series leaves 64, enough for a second standard series with 28 to spare. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads. Candy flags the series as ending in a chat with Sofia Fletcher, and her chat profile is built on the same meeting, a friend’s girlfriend home alone, so the chat picks up the premise.

Verdict
A setup-first series that spends its free ninety seconds on a goodbye, a graphics card and an open question about what Jake did to earn this. Not much happens yet, but the revenge hook is real, and 36 tokens finishes the series. Watch the free pair; if that last name called out makes you curious, episode 3 is next.
