What My Billionaire Boss is about
My Billionaire Boss Candy Shorts is an office power play told in as few words as possible. Damian Kane is the boss: wealthy, exacting and used to being obeyed. His new intern stays late to finish a presentation he insists she complete, and when she delivers it, Candy’s synopsis says he tosses it away and asks her a different kind of question: what’s my name? What follows is a negotiation over formality, first names and what a promotion might cost. The synopsis adds a hook for later: his business partner eventually sees a video, and by then the intern knows exactly what she’s worth. There are no Candy tags and no lead profile; it’s an original cast with no chat at the end. Every character is a fictional adult.
Why it works (and where it doesn’t)
The best scene is the name exchange. In under a minute, a request to say his name goes from “Mr. Kane” to a first name, and the whole power dynamic of the series is on screen without a line of exposition. That economy is the show’s strength and its limit. Episode 1 has about two dozen words of dialogue, and episode 2 is a mere 34 seconds, so this is atmosphere first, plot second. (I’ve sat through quarterly reviews with more words per minute.) The partner-and-video twist from the synopsis is the reason to unlock, since that’s where the intern’s leverage comes in. Fair warning: boss-and-intern setups are polarizing, and this one leans in on purpose.
The free episodes
Episode 1 (58 seconds) is the late night: the intern can’t leave until her presentation is done, it’s done, and then the boss asks her to say his name, first formal, then personal. Episode 2 (34 seconds) is a single beat, the promotion put into words and a last line telling her not to be shy. The free pair adds up to about a minute and a half, so it’s a very light sample, suggestive and short on dialogue, and it ends where the story is clearly about to begin.
After the paywall
Episodes 3 to 5 are locked: three episodes at 12 tokens each, 3 × 12 = 36 tokens to finish. Premium is required and includes 100 tokens a month, so this series leaves 64, enough for a second standard series with 28 to spare. Unlocked episodes are yours forever, no ads. Candy lists no lead character for this series, so there’s no chat at the end; the story finishes with episode 5.

Verdict
A mood piece more than a story: very little dialogue, one good scene about a name and a free pair that adds up to about ninety seconds. The reason to unlock is the partner-and-video twist in Candy’s synopsis, and finishing costs 36 tokens. Watch the free pair first; it takes less time than the elevator ride to the office.
